The fishery lies in an area of beautiful mountain scenery and is fed by mountain streams. Depths vary from four to twelve feet and an island creates an interesting feature. 
The Rainbow lake is stocked on a weekly basis with rainbow trout up to 10 lb and Brown Trout to 2 lb 8 oz. The fishery record Rainbow Trout 25lb, and Brown Trout record standing at 8lb.
Best flies are Montana, white cats whisker, gold head daddy, olives, and damsels with orange patterns also going down well.

With the colder weather the fish have moved to the deeper parts of the pond so the best lines to us are Intermediat - sinking.
