Spend
a perfect day fishing at one of the most picturesque lakes in Wales.
Glyncorrwg
lies in a small, isolated valley off the river Corrwg, a tributary
of the river Afan. It is close to the Afan Forest Park Visitor
Centre at the heart of the Afan Forest Park.
In
2007 the ponds were voted one of the best stillwater fisheries
in Wales by "Visit Wales".
The
fishery started life in 1994, and consists of three man-made lakes.
One stocked with rainbow trout upto 25lb in weight, and covering an
area of 2.5 acres.
The two coarse lakes are stocked with bream,
roach, and tench, and carp up to 38lb in weight.
